Ani Schroeter is a New York based filmmaker. After graduating from Bard College, Ani assisted execs at A&E Network, Gotham (formerly known as IFP) and Emjag productions.
As a freelancer, she has produced countless short films, music videos, commercials and campaigns working with brands and companies such as Expedia, Nike, A24, Universal Music, Anomaly, Object & Animal and Tommy Hillfiger.
In addition to producing, Ani 1st Assistant Directed the film GIANTS BEING LONELY which was nominated for the Orizzonti Competition (Horizons) at the 2019 Venice Biennale.
Ani co-produced the short film Wiggle Room, directed by Sam Guest and Julia Baylis which premiered at Sundance 2021 and went on to screen at SXSW and Woodstock. She also Line Produced the short Good Grief, directed by Nastasya Popov which premiered at Palm Springs 2021.
Her directorial debut, YIELD, a short film starring Christine Spang and Lili Taylor recently premiered at Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival where she won the Grand Prize for Directorial Discovery.
